Thanks for writing this. I really feel as though I know so much more about this than I did before. You intend to install one in a metal door you would be well advised to make absolutely sure that you purchase one that will work in metal doors. Some electronic dog doors pick up interference from nearby metal objects and may not operate properly. You should continue this, I’m sure most people would agree you’ve got a gift. Thanks for sharing.
